The Dynamic, and Boxing Enthusiast Host Cassandra Lewis, talks Boxing with Mr. POLO JOSE, the enthusiastic Podcaster & Producer of the Tubi Film Dissection of the Dollar. POLO JOSE, an independent filmmaker, producer, actor, and director PoLo Jose brings audiences on an electrifying journey into a world rarely seen on screen with the release of Dissection of the Dollar, now streaming on Tubi. Set against the backdrop of one of the most turbulent times in modern history—the COVID-19 pandemic—the film delivers a gripping, emotional exploration of survival, redemption, and the relentless pursuit of a better life. Taking place in New York City and Jersey City during the height of the pandemic, Dissection of the Dollar follows a man determined to leave the streets behind in pursuit of a safer, more meaningful future for himself and his family. Drawing from true-life experiences, the film explores the emotional and psychological toll of street life while emphasizing that transformation is possible, regardless of one’s past. Unlike many crime dramas that glamorize street culture, Dissection of the Dollar focuses on the consequences of that lifestyle and the courage required to break free. The backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic adds another layer of realism, highlighting a period that many experienced but few filmmakers have examined through the lens of those living in marginalized communities.
